First I would like to say thanks again for dropping by.
9-25-11 I am still here, working for a living and still doing photography. Because my travel days appear to be behind me, I now concentrate on portriat work and just having fun.
I am back after over a years absent from photography and web site care.
uly 27, 2008 I have just updated my pages. My latest galleries are in Gallery 1 and 2. Most of the latest are from this years trip to Yellowstone. I am trying to catch up on a couple years of photographs I managed to capture and will post them soon
AS ALWAYS Be sure to check out the 'For the Dogs' page. Any one that knows me knows
I love my dogs. "He is your friend, your partner, your defender,
your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful
and true, to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy
of such devotion." -- Unknown
7-27-08; I finally made it to Virginia this year. I have been to Texas and back twice since my last update. I have also been to Yellowstone twice, the Oregon coast twice and California twice. Photography was not my primary purpose of the travels, but I managed to get a shot here and there. These days I am more into portrait work than landscape. Portraits are a challenge and fun plus my traveling is now a thing of the past.
5-11-06; I will going to Virginia for a week and hope to capture some nice photographs. Be sure to stop by to view the latest. I am also going to San Francisco and Dallas again before the end of June. Mostly all trips will be strictly a Photographic extravangaza.
5-11-06; I just finished updating my other
site PHOTOS 4U. The site is primarily
for viewing and purchasing of photographs.
1-13-06; I just returned from a trip to Dallas,
TX. On my return I drove through AZ, UT and NV. I took 9 gig-bytes of photos.
I have posted three new galleries of some of the pictures of my journey.
11-26-05; The latest news: I now have two
new camera's updated on my equipment page. I bought the Canon 20D to replace
my 10D. I replaced my carry along camera (Olympus 4040) with a new Casio
EX-P700. Both of these camera's are excellent. I have updated my photo editing
software also to Adobe Photoshop CS2.
11-26-05; I have changed jobs which has required
some of my time until I get comfortable in the new position. There are a
few draw backs with the new job, but mostly it's the less travel time which
will have a direct impact on my landscape photography. So maybe I'll start
working more on portraits, people, animals as well at a try at some abstract.
11-26-05; I am starting to make head way
on updating my photo site. I managed to update a couple of new galleries
recently. I still have additional photos from Glacier National Park, Montana
and a ton more from St Helens, Mt Rainier and the local area.
7-4-05; I am a bit behind on keeping my galleries
updated. I still have photos from Yellowstone National Park to post from
my trip through there in June. I also have photos to post from my latest
two week stay in Salt Lake City. So please check back often for my latest
6-12-05; I finally had time to post two more sets of photo's
taken on my trip to Dallas, TX. I don't believe any are great works of art, but all the same some are interesting. I had an excellent trip. The car was a nice ride, my two pups were well behaved and good company. I spent minimum time on the interstate and mostly stuck to the smaller highways and back roads.
5-29-05; I have posted two sets of photo's taken on my trip to Dallas,
TX. One set of a very cool place, Arches National Park, Utah. I had a good
time here and the scenery was unbelievable. I spent some time in Chama,
New Mexico and the south part of the state and posted pictures of the area.
Plus I travel a major portion of hwy 125 through Colorado, wow a gorgeous
drive check out the pictures.
5-14-05; My son Brian has finally found happiest. He was very lucky when
he met Raygan and very smart in asking her to marry him. I took photos of
the two in the Ft. Worth, TX area and the photos can be view in Gallery
5-11-05; It's hard to believe at 30 that
I am now a grandpa. My daughter Sarah had her baby boy on the 11th. Luke
was 7.9 lbs and 20 inches long. Everyone is doing well and very happy. Luke
now has his own button link with newly added photos.
I am off on a vacation for a round trip to Dallas, TX. I plan on taking side
roads there and back looking for photo ops. Be sure to check back for my new photos.
5-1-05; Little Jen had her baby boy Devan at Harrison in Bremerton, WA.
All is well and photos can be seen in Gallery 3.
4-23-05; I have added two new galleries. Both galleries are just snap
shots of stuff. Most of the pictures I took here at my pond. I have seen
a lot of interesting things on this ole pond, click here for a
recap. Most recently is the Blue Heron, a Flicker woodpecker nest and the two pair of
Wood Ducks. We always have a couple of Mallards and usually a pair of Buffle-Head
4-23-05; I updated my equipment and darkroom pages
4-17-05; I have added two new menu items; one for my camera equipment and one for my darkroom process. I have received emails with interest in both areas. My camera equipment page has most of the important equipment on it, but will be added to over time. The darkroom page is really only a place holder for now, so check back on it in a couple of days (weeks).
4-3-05; I have divided my original 2 photo galleries into 3 separate galleries.
I did this to improve load speed of the home page. The change will also
make it easier for me to manage the over all web site.
4-2-05; I went to the Skagit Valley again and managed to get a few photos
of the tulips. I have already posted one set including a few shots taken with
my new lens. I will try to upload a few more this coming week.
4-2-05; I uploaded a few shots I took last week while I was out and about.
I also have a link at the bottom of the thumbnail index page which provides
a brief description of some of the shots.
3-23-05; I went to the Skagit Valley and found the Tulips won't be ready
until about April 2nd. I plan on going up next weekend to get what ever
shots I can. This year I have two new lens I didn't have last year. I plan
on getting some killer shots. If you have never been to the tulip fields
this is the time of year to go.
3-23-05; I added a bunch of pictures of my puppies on the 'for the dogs'
3-23-05; Johnston Visitor Center will be opening on May the 6th so guess
where I will be? Oh, that's the visitor center at Mt St Helens which has
been closed since October 2004.
