Being in the Virginia area is an experience by itself. But, Ball's Bluff was the most impressive for me.
Ball's Bluff National Cemetery, one of the nation's smallest national cemeteries, was established in December 1865 as the burial place of 54 Union casualties of the battle. I believe all the head stones were marked unknown. Being there sent a mad rush of feelings and emotions that I'll never forget. It was a quite and peaceful park with very few visitors so I had a lot of time just to take it all in, Wow!
Google Ball's Bluff it's very interesting.
